Our Newest Ministry
St.
Patrick's is often described as a caring community, even a loving
family. There is a warmth visitors often comment on. In that spirit, we have opened this online meeting place. The economic news is bleak, and for many the reality is worse. These are tough
times, and it is affecting our members. As a community we need to pull
together and help each other. This page is designed to help both sides
in a transaction.
Those needing work
(and
who doesn't these days?) can post their skills and talents here. As much
as we spend time together in worship and fellowship, it is often
surprising how little we know of each others jobs. Members can post
their full-time jobs, or part-time talent. Their is no cost and if
people know what you do, they just might bring you more business.
You
know the drill. You need something done so you look in the phone book
or online and pick someone whose ad sounds honest. You make an appointment and
no one shows up. Or if they do, they tell you your "widget" is shot,
and it will be $400 to fix. There is a better way. Look in this section
to see if you can get the work done by a member of St. Patrick's.
You can appreciate, however, that St. Patrick's in no way
endorses or guarantees the quality of the work or offerings of any specific member.
